THIS MONTH'S SHOW FEATURES...

BEN GLEIB

Ben Gleib was named by TBS one of the "funniest comedians working today."

He’s the host, head writer, and executive producer of the Emmy nominated "Idiotest" on NETFLIX. The hit comedy brain teaser game show originally had four seasons and 210 episodes on Game Show Network, and was their most watched original show. For 7 years he was one of the stars of “Chelsea Lately" on E! with over 100 appearances on the roundtable. He currently can be seen in the “Jay and Silent Bob Reboot” movie, along with Kevin Smith, Jason Mewes, Chris Hemsworth, Rosario Dawson, Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. Recently he pulled a prank on David Beckham for “The Late Late Show with James Corden” which got 27 million views. His hilarious hour-long standup special "Ben Gleib - Neurotic Gangster" which premiered on SHOWTIME is currently on Amazon Prime.

STEVEN PEARL

Steven Pearl - Steven Pearl, a Professional Stand-up Comedian since 1979, began his career at Catch a Rising Star & The Improv in NYC, then he moved to San Francisco, performing at the legendary Holy City Zoo & The Punchline. He later moved to L.A. and quickly became a paid regular at the World Famous Comedy Store. Steven has appeared on numerous television shows including An Evening at the Improv and Caroline's Comedy Hour, and he has performed and written with Robin Williams, Sam Kinison and Jim Carrey. Steven currently resides in Las Vegas appearing at The Laugh Factory, Bonkerz and Jokesters. His high-energy comedy is both outrageous and hysterically original.

CATHY LADMAN

Cathy's comedy focuses on family, growing up, relationships, and real life from a very personal perspective. The Los Angeles Times put it best: "... Ladman has such clever, well-written material and such a breezy, unassuming delivery that it would be easy to overlook just how good she is: Her act seems effortless." Besides writing her standup act and original scripted projects, Cathy was on the writing staffs of “The Caroline Rhea Show” (2002), “Caroline in the City” (different Caroline altogether – 1997), and “Roseanne” (1996). She also wrote an episode of “King of Queens" and other sitcoms. Her theatre credits include a successful run Off-Broadway in, “The JAP Show: The Princesses of Comedy," the 25th Anniversary production of “Last Summer at Bluefish Cove” in Los Angeles, which was nominated for several GLAAD awards, and she and HBO developed her first solo show, “Scaredypants,” and took it to the Aspen Comedy Festival. Her second solo show, “Does This Show Make Me Look Fat?,” will be opening in Spring of 2021.

STEVEN PEARL

Camilla Cleese is a comedian, writer, and actress, originally from London, but currently residing in Los Angeles, CA. A former professional equestrian, Camilla began pursuing a career in entertainment after attending UCSB. She was fortunate to start out working with and learning from her father, John Cleese, writing and performing in a number of tours and various other projects. In recent years, they co-penned the musical stage adaptation of the film, “A Fish Called Wanda,’ and worked as a writer on the very first ‘Just For Laughs International Comedy Gala at The Sydney Opera House’.

GABE ABELSON

Gabe Abelson is an accomplished stand-up comedian, having toured the world several times over and having appeared on Late Night With Conan O’Brien, Comedy Central Presents and numerous other television shows.

For five years, Gabe served as Head Monologue Writer for Late Show with David Letterman, where he garnered five Emmy nominations, and was also a staff writer for The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Politically Incorrect with Bill Maher, The Late, Late Show with Craig Kilborn, Lopez Tonight, Pop-Up Video and The Tom Green Show.  In between writing and performing, Gabe has taught both stand-up comedy and writing for late night television for over 30 years.  His former students range from Gary Greenberg, Head Writer for Jimmy Kimmel Live!, to Michael Platt, producer and head writer of Grace and Frankie, Travon Free, writer and Emmy winner for The Daily Show and Oscar winner for Two Distant Strangers, national headlining comedian and actor, Eddie Pepitone, and countless others who have gone to find tremendous success in film, TV, and live standup.

CASEY MCNEAL

Casey McNeal (“Addicted to Disorders”) is a Boston comic and humorist who regularly appears in Clubs throughout New England and New York. Sometimes observational, sometimes absurd, but always told through the lense of his mental hangups, his comedy appeals to those who have hangups, and those who like to laugh at other people’s hangups. He has opened for legends like Sam Kinison, Margaret Cho, Kevin Nealon, Judy Tenuta, and Cathy Ladman, among others. He was a Finalist in the “NBC Tonight Show Comedy Challenge,” and has appeared in the “Boston Comedy Festival,” the “Mutiny Radio Comedy Festival,” and the “NY Underground Comedy Festival.”

HELAINE WITT

Helaine Witt started comedy in San Francisco in the 80's!  Her teachers had done improv with Robin Williams.  She also wrote jokes for Joan Rivers which she told on the Late Show with Johnny Carson. In the 1990's Helaine returned to New York City and returned to comedy after retiring from teaching there.  She has appeared on The Wendy Williams Show's Street Talk several times and performs and emcees all over!
